About Pablo de Miguel
I'm a Senior Product Manager who builds AI-powered products and data platforms at scale. Currently leading Platform strategy at Kitman Labs, where I architect the infrastructure behind an Intelligence Platform used by NFL teams and Premier League clubs.
Originally from Spain, I've built products across New York, Singapore, Dublin, and Madrid. My background blends quantitative finance with product craft — I spent years in fixed income trading before the pull to create products became too strong to ignore. That analytical rigor now shapes how I approach product strategy, AI integration, and data-driven decision making.

background
I started my career in finance — managing fixed income portfolios, trading bonds, and even designing CO2 emissions arbitrage strategies. The quantitative discipline stuck with me, but I was drawn to building things people actually use.
I moved to New York, enrolled at General Assembly, joined Y Combinator's Startup School with my own company (Pitly), and never looked back. Since then I've led product teams from early-stage startups to enterprise platforms, always at the intersection of technology, data, and user experience.
how I work
I start with the customer. Before writing a single user story, I invest in discovery — talking to users, mapping pain points, and validating assumptions with data. I've run hundreds of user interviews across sports tech, fintech, and SaaS, and that habit shapes everything downstream.
I prioritize ruthlessly. I use a mix of quantitative signals (usage data, conversion metrics, retention curves) and qualitative insight (customer interviews, support patterns) to decide what to build next. If something doesn't move a metric that matters, it doesn't make the roadmap.
I prototype fast. Whether it's a Figma mockup, a no-code MVP, or an AI-powered proof of concept, I believe in putting something tangible in front of users before committing engineering resources. I built Onomastic as an AI prototype to validate demand before scaling — that's how I think about every feature.
I connect strategy to execution. I define product vision and roadmaps that align business goals with user needs, then work across engineering, design, and data science to bring them to life. I've led cross-functional teams of up to 6 direct reports — my role is to set direction, make trade-offs, and ensure every feature we ship ties back to a measurable outcome.

expertise
Product Management
I define product vision, build roadmaps, and drive strategy from discovery to launch. My finance background gives me an edge in financial modeling, business cases, and making data-backed prioritization decisions.
UX/UI Design
I bring a design-first mindset to every product decision. From wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes, I ensure user experience drives feature prioritization and that what we ship is intuitive, not just functional.
AI Product Development
I build AI-powered products — from concept to launch. I designed and shipped Onomastic, an AI tool that generates professional book indexes from manuscripts. I use LLMs, no-code platforms, and rapid prototyping to validate ideas fast and ship products that solve real problems.
Writing
I love history. I'm an avid reader of Spanish history in particular. I'm writing a book about the whereabouts of two family members during the Spanish Civil War, uncovering unforgettable and sad memories. Read more.
